Tiramisu Recipe

Tiramisu is an Italian dessert. Tiramisu, translated directly into Italian, means to ‘lift me up’, and it is used to ‘make me feel good’. It is easy to make with just castella and whipped cream.

2. Cooking ingredients(2 servings)

4~6 thinly sliced ​​castella sheets, appropriate amount of cocoa powder, espresso coffee 200ml (1 cup), sugar 60ml (4T), Kahlua 15ml (1T) , mascarpone cheese or cream cheese 120g , 1 yolk, whipped cream 100ml (1/2cup)

3. How to cook

Step 1. Mix mascarpone cheese and egg yolk with a whisk, store in the refrigerator, and mix well with whipped cream to make cream.

Step 2. Make tiramisu sauce by mixing espresso coffee, sugar, and kahlua in a saucepan over low heat.

Step 3. Cut the castella into 8cm horizontally and vertically, put it on a plate, and apply the tiramisu sauce.

Step 4. Apply an appropriate amount of the cream prepared in Step 1. on the castella coated with tiramisu sauce. And put the castella on top. You can make the same process over and over again.

Step 5. After re-applying the cream on the castella, sprinkle the cocoa powder through a fine sieve evenly.
