Potato salad Recipe
1. Brief description
Potato salad is a recipe made when potatoes were introduced to America. It is different from British mashed potatoes, and the original American potato salad is neither peeled nor cooked, so you can enjoy the crunchy taste of raw potatoes. However, eating raw potatoes can cause glycoalkaloid poisoning symptoms, so cook them as much as possible. And the American potato salad is a salad made with mayonnaise.
2. Cooking ingredients(2 servings)
1 potato (150g), 1/6 onion, 1 stalk of parsley(parsley powder), 50g mayonnaise, 5g salt, 1g pepper powder
3. How to cook
Step 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes of about 1cm, then soak them in cold water.
Step 2. Boil the sliced potatoes in boiling salted water, drain and cool. (Do not rinse in cold water.)
Step 3. Chop the onion finely, sprinkle a little salt on it, and then squeeze the water out on a cotton cloth.
Step 4. Remove the water from the boiled potatoes with a cotton cloth, add onion and mayonnaise, mix, and season with salt and pepper powder.
