Caprese is a salad that originated on the island of Capri, a small island in the Naples region of Italy. Topped with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil alternately and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil or balsamic vinegar dressing. It’s simple, but it’s delicious, and it’s colorful, so it’s enjoyed as an appetizer.

1 tomato, 120g fresh mozzarella cheese, 5 basil, 50g extra virgin olive oil

Step 1. Cut the tomatoes into 0.5cm thick and spr

Step 3. Alternately place tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese in a bowl.
Step 4. Place basil leaves on top of tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese. (You can also put them between tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese.)
Step 5. Drizzle with olive oil or balsamic vinegar dressing.
