Carbonara Recipe

1. Brief description

Carbonara is an Italian-style noodle dish that is made by stir-frying Italian-style salted meat called ‘guanciale’ and mixing Romano cheese or Parmigiano Reggiano. And eat it by rubbing the egg like a sauce. On the other hand, in the case of American carbonara, immigrant Italians cook easily and simply using bacon and cheese powder instead of salted meat.

2. Cooking ingredients(2 servings)

150g spaghetti, 60g bacon, 50g garlic, 2 egg yolks, 30g (2T) olive oil, 100ml (1/2 cup) boiled spaghetti water, 2.5g (1/2 t) salt, a little bit of pepper

1 egg, 45g (3T) Parmesan cheese powder(You can use your favorite cheese according to your taste.)

3. How to cook

Step 1. Chop the bacon into 1cm thick pieces, and crush the garlic coarsely.

Step 2. Add spaghetti to 5g (1t) of salt in boiling water and boil noodles according to your taste. (Refer to the packaging for boiling noodles according to your taste.)
(Caution at this time! Boil it slightly less than you like.)

Step 3. Set aside 100ml (1/2 cup) of spaghetti boiled water.

Step 4. Stir well the egg mixture ingredients in a bowl.

Step 5. Add olive oil and garlic to a heated pan and fry for 2-3 minutes over medium heat, then add bacon and fry for another 2 minutes.

Step 6. Add 100ml (1/2 cup) of boiled spaghetti water, and when it boils, add spaghetti and stir-fry for 1 minute and 30 seconds, then turn off the heat.

Step 7. While it is hot, add egg water and rub, mix with salt and pepper powder (according to your taste).
